Microsoft released ten security bulletins today and updates to various products to fix thirty-four separate vulnerabilities. Three of the updates have a maximum severity level of Critical. Two affect Microsoft Windows and one is a Cumulative Update for Internet Explorer.

As expected, Apple on Monday unveiled the iPhone 4, the latest version of its popular smartphone, which will include a video calling feature known as FaceTime, a gyroscope, a video editing app, retina display, iBooks, and more.
The phone – which will be available in white and black – will go on sale June 24 in the U.S., France, Germany, U.K., and Japan. More countries will be added throughout the summer, for a total of 88 by the end of September.

Online backup ranks among the most popular software topics on PCMag.com. It’s no surprise, since all the numbers point to the need for backing up your treasured files: Every year, 43 percent of computer users lose irreplaceable data. Why? Because users don’t perform regular, frequent backups. An Iomega study showed that 69 percent of home users back up once a month or less.
