Get out and walk the street. You need to get out to small businesses. Offer free checkup to senior centers and then get the newspaper to write a story about it.
Most off all be neat, clean and responsive. Nothing worse than bad word of mouth.
I ran a computer consultancy for several years. Although I did some repairs I concentrated on virus and adware removal, cleaning registry, and getting computers up to speed. A $20 ad in the local paper resulted in five or six jobs a week. Not big money but a great return for investment. I suggest you do the same, also advertise the computer repairs and offer a discount to pensioners. That gets people interested. Most importantly, don’t rip people off.
