How can i restore my VISTA computer to dell factory condition without going to repair computer?

K so im using vista
i have a virus and i cant press f8 and go to repair my computer it wont load.
So is there another way to restore my comp to factory condition without going to repair computer?

insert your vista re-install CD which will have come with the laptop, somewhere in the box unless you have moved them. when on the bios screen, press the button that is assigned to the startup order there should be another thing other near where it says ‘press F8′ and then choose start from CD-ROM or DVD-rom ect then follow the on-screen instructions.

If the BIOS won’t load your recovery partition, i guess the last option would be to use your recovery DVD, but since you have a recovery partition on your computer, it’s unlikely that a recovery disc was also included, in which case you’d have to contact your computer manufacturer to buy a new one.
Or, if you have a windows CD laying around you could install windows again and then install the drivers manually after installation completes.

The virus is preventing you from any Administrative tasks. (You’re the owner of the computer, hence the Administrator)
I suggest you download the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and kick that virus to the curb! Then you can restore your computer.
Malwarebytes will work where McAfee, Norton, AVG, Spybot Search & Destroy, Avast, Microsoft Live One Care, Microsoft Defender, and a host of others will not!
