Selling Computer Repair Service?

I am very good at fixing computer hardware, installing components and setting up software etc. I have my A+ certification as well..I wanted to start up a side business (nothing big). I would like to advertise my service in my local newspaper’s classifieds. Would I need to obtain a proper business license to do this within legal boundaries? Is there anything else I am forgetting (like taxes) ?
